How you can help the iggies
There are a lot of ways you can help the iggies listed on this site.
Make a donation
You can make a donation easily via paypal. If you want to donate to a particular dog then let us know and we will ensure your donation goes to that dog.
Every little bit helps, so please feel free to donate as little or as much as you like. All donations are gratefully accepted and will go towards caring for the rescued iggies

Sponsor an iggy
Another way you can help is by sponsoring an iggy in foster care. Sponsoring an iggy means you make a regular donation to pay for the food and upkeep of the iggy of your choice. As a sponsor your name will be displayed as the sponsor of that dog on our website.
Sponsoring costs:
For food, worming meds, heartworm medication - $32.50 a month
For sick/emaciated dogs the cost is higher and would have to be worked out on an individual dog basis.

Become a foster carer
If you are interested in becoming a foster carer for Iggy Rescue please email us to discuss it further.
Provide transport or temporary care to iggies in pounds
Often people want to help but are unable to foster dogs in their home. Another great way to help iggies in need is to transport dogs from pounds to foster care, the airport (to be flown to their foster carer), or to a vet to be desexed, vacc'd etc.
Iggy rescue also needs volunteers to provide temporary care for iggies that have to get out of the pound, but may have to wait a day or two until they can be flown to foster care.
