Sandy - Italian Greyhound x Chihuahua, 18mths old
Sandy came into foster care a very timid dog. After a lot of encouragement from her foster family, Sandy has come a long way and is now playing with toys, using the doggie door and she enjoys sitting and sleeping in close proximity to her foster family.
Sandy is in care with other dogs and plays with her foster sister Annie, and her foster brother, Sammie - both are small dogs with nice temperaments; it is important that we find Sandy a home with another small, friendly dog.
Sandy is not fussy about food, she loves to eat raw vegetables and fruit along with a normal doggie diet. Sandy is still timid, she had an awful life in her original home, so will need a very understanding family who be patient with her. Sandy is not at all aggressive to other dogs or humans, she is a very sweet girl. Sandy would love a home with a family who will be prepared to love her for the little dog that she is. Sandy is a house dog and has a low maintenance coat.
Sandy comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and has a NSW Local Council lifetime registration for $450. She is NOT available for adoption outside of NSW (except ACT).
