Nausco, 11 year old Chihuahua mix

Nausco is a shy, timid little girl who is somewhat bewildered and unsure why she's found herself behind bars.
This little dog has obviously been someone's faithful pet for some time, but recently her family surrendered her to the pound.
She's 11 years old, so for a small breed Chihuahua mix, that is not old, and she should have many happy years ahead of her.
Too shy for photos (a little scared of the camera), she preferred to hide away in her basket. She is friendly and once she gets to know you, she just wants to be loved. She's upset and missing her family.
The only thing which would make Nausco's life change for the better would be for a kind family to take her into their home and give her the chance to live a long, happy life; something her previous family denied her of.
A little larger than a Chihuhua, she's still a small dog, and easy going and quite placid, however she can be a little intimidated by big dogs and easily frightened by them.
She is best suited to a home where she is the only dog, being given all the attention, or with another small dog.
We will add better photos soon once she is a little more comfortable with the camera.
