Luca - 4yr old male iggy x chihuahua - Avail soon

This is Luca. Luca found himself unclaimed in a Canberra pound, so nothing is known about his history. However we cam tell you Luca is a lovely little dog. He is easy to handle and very affectionate. People who have met him have told us he is a lovely little boy.
Luca does not guard his food and is happiest when cuddled on the nearest persons lap.
The rescue people who conduct temperament assessments on the dogs had this to say about Luca:
Delightful little fellow who craves human affection. He does not appear to have any training, though is easy to manage and quite good on lead. As he is responsive and keen to please, he would be easy to train and would benefit from some further training. He appears to show some anxiety when left alone and would need a yard where the bottom of fence is secure. As he has long toenails, may have been predominantly an indoor dog. Super cuddly, nice companion.
Luca would love a forever home where he will be allowed to sleep indoors and be part of the family. He would probably enjoy the company of another small dog, however he would be ok as an only dog if his new owners are home the majority of the time. Luca appears good on lead and would be easy to train. He is headed to kennels in Sydney to finish his quarantine time before getting his vetwork done. Luca will then head to foster care where we will get to know him better.
Luca will come desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, wormed and vetchecked for $350. Please fill in an adoption application if you would like to offer Luca a forever home.
Luca was named by Bronwyn, his name means 'bringer of light'.
