Enzo - Iggy x Foxy

Enzo enjoying a bone
Enzo originated in Wagga Wagga, NSW. We don't know his full history but he is currently being fostered in Gippsland, Victoria. We believe Enzo is around two years old.
Enzo is the most loving and affectionate little man. He will look at you adoringly whenever he is spoken to. He is partial to a pat and a cuddle, especially on your lap and can stay there forever if you let him. Enzo is a bit of a talker, most often in his sleep, where he will do little moans and groans throughout the night. He also talks when repositioning himself either in his bed or on the lounge. It is the cutest thing to hear! His photos show he has black markings, but in the sun it is more a beautiful sable colour which is just so pretty - even for a little man like him!.
Enzo is not a fussy eater and will consume pretty much anything put in front of him. He is a slow eater, in other words he isn't a 'hoover' with his food, taking his time and relishing his tucker. When food or bikkies are handed to him, he takes them 'oh so gently' with hardly a touch your fingers! He also loves bones, chicken necks and other treats when earned and will trot around the place with a 'pleased as punch - look at what I've got' smile on his face before settling down to munch away.
Enzo is crate trained, loves travelling in the car, walks well on the lead although he likes to think he is taking you for a walk and not the other way around. He is almost completely potty trained on command with only a very rare accident, usually because of his foster carer's lack of attention. But if a doggy door is available, he is completely at ease using it and will take himself outside whenever he needs to toilet. He is in the process of learning to sit, drop, stay and wait and is doing well with this training.
Enzo is very people focussed and is happy to meet and greet visitors into the home with a big kiss and a request for a pat or cuddle. He is also very good with other dogs of all sizes, both male and female. He is not intimidated by 'bullying type' dogs and reacts to them with confidence, but with absolutely no aggression. He is such a friendly little fellow and will happily snuggle up with any other dog that will allow him to.
He has been known to be good with some cats but not with others, so will need further assessment in this area. He has recently been to a cattery for testing and was not interested in them until his foster carer patted one of the cats. He was then wanting to get between the cat and carer so perhaps his interest is generated by jealousy. This interest could probably be countered by a careful introduction.
Enzo is not a barker, but will let you know if there is a stranger about. Currently his favourite game is tug but he also likes his squeeky toys. He is also able to entertain himself with toys so would likely be okay left alone for short periods. He is a confident and loving little boy who would make an ideal companion. He has a little training to go in the off/get down department but is progressing nicely.
Enzo comes desexed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, wormed, microchipped and lifetime registered for $350. He would ideally love to find a forever home with a family who can give him lots of loving. He would also benefit from having another doggy friend as a best buddy to play with.
